Autumn Eckman

Autumn Eckman received her classical training from Susan Bebee, Tom Pazik and Patricia Bromley in Atlanta, GA before attending the Houston Ballet Academy. Upon graduation, she joined Giordano Dance Chicago, later on serving as Assistant Artistic Director, Resident Choreographer and Director Giordano II. Autumn also was a company member of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Luna Negra Dance Theatre, Lucky Plush Productions, Ron De Jesus Dance, State Street Ballet and The Cambrians. Her choreographic commissions include DanceWorks Chicago, State Street Ballet, Visceral Dance Chicago, Vitacca Ballet, Chattanooga Ballet, Kit Modus, The Big Muddy Dance Co., Wylliams-Henry Dance Company, and Mareck Dance (formerly Missouri Contemporary Ballet). Autumn holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Iowa. Formerly on faculty at Northern Illinois University, the University of Arizona, and the School of the Arts at Central Gwinnett High School for Arts, she currently is an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University.
